What types of warts can I treat with Skin Clinic FREEZE ‘n CLEAR™?
You can treat two types of warts: Common warts (Verruca Vulgaris) and Plantar Warts (Verruca Plantaris). Common warts are small, grainy skin growths that occur most often on your fingers or hands. Rough to the touch, common warts also often feature a pattern of tiny black dots, which are small, clotted blood vessels. Common warts are caused by exposure to the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and can take up to 6 months to appear after exposure to the virus. Plantar warts are small growths that usually appear on the heels or other weight-bearing areas of your feet. This pressure may also cause plantar warts to grow inward beneath a hard, thick layer of skin (callus). Plantar warts are also caused by HPV. The virus enters your body through tiny cuts, breaks or other weak spots on the bottom of your feet.
How cold does the applicator bud get?
The applicator bud reaches a maximum temperature of -55°C (-67°F).
What is the best technique to ensure the applicator bud reaches the coldest temperature?
Hold the canister upright, as shown in the instructions, and press the actuator (plastic top) for 3 seconds. Remove the actuator & bud and hold in a downward position for 15 seconds before applying it to the wart.
How many warts can you treat with one applicator bud?
We recommend using a new applicator for each wart to prevent reinfection of the treatment site.
Can I reuse the applicator bud?
No. Do not use a used applicator bud to treat another person due to the potential for cross-contamination.
How many treatments will it take to resolve a wart?
Many warts resolve after one treatment, however more difficult warts may be treated up to 4 times spaced 2 weeks apart.

The shelf life is 3 years from the date of manufacture.
